Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a highly regarded organisation based in Melbourne's CBD. This role will be a temporary ongoing role.

Working within a friendly team culture this role will require you to take ownership of the role within a high volume, fast paced environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

- High volume processing of supplier invoices
- Matching of invoices to purchase orders
- Ensuring authorisations are correct
- Reconciliations
- Resolving supplier queries
- Setting up and preparing for weekly payment runs
- Account and statement reconciliations
- Management of employee expenses claims
- Month-end journals and accruals
- MS Dynamics

About You

To be successful, you will have proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role with an ability to quickly pick up complex accounting systems and processes quickly.

Proven ability to manage high volumes and meet month end deadlines is a pivotal element of this role.

Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport across all levels of an organisation will be essential in this position.





Solid system skills will also be essential with previous MS Dynamics experience an advantage.
