A leading mining contractor is expanding its Pinjarra workshop operation and is seeking experienced HD Mechanics and HRT Mechanics looking for long-term stability, career growth and a strong team culture.

This is a workshop-based role working across surface HME and supporting fleet in a hands-on mining environment. The focus is maintenance, rebuilds, fit-outs and machine preparation to support ongoing operations.

- Roster: 5:2 Monday-Friday (Day Shift) | 6:00am - 4:00pm (10-hour days)
- Pay: Up to $70/hr + Super + Overtime + Vehicle
- Vehicle: High-spec Toyota Hilux
- Employment Structure: Permanent Full-Time
- Location: Pinjarra, WA

The Role
You'll be working in a up-to-date workshop carrying out servicing, diagnostics, rebuilds and maintenance on surface mobile mining equipment (HME) and heavy vehicles, supporting machine reliability and performance across the fleet.

- Servicing, maintenance and rebuild work on surface HME and heavy vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes and hydraulic systems
- Component change-outs, including engines, final drives,



differentials and suspension
- Carrying out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance activities
- Supporting machine shutdowns and full equipment rebuilds
- Working closely with auto electrical and hydraulic teams to complete workshop rebuild projects
- Maintaining high safety, quality and housekeeping standards within the workshop

What We're Looking For

- Australian-recognized trade certificate (Essential): Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Mining or HME experience (preferred)
- HR or MC licence (preferred, particularly for HRT Mechanics)
- Strong understanding of workshop safety systems
- A team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Current driver's licence + ability to pass pre-employment checks
