Eightx is hiring an Accounting Services Director to lead, coach, train and manage a team of about 8 to 10 accountants and bookkeepers serving fast-growing ecommerce and consumer brands. You will own accounting processes end to end: the monthly close across the client portfolio, SOPs, review and sign-off, and complex accounting (leases, equity transactions, multi-currency, inventory). You will be the senior accounting contact on client calls and partner closely with our fractional CFOs. Clean data raises earnings quality and reduces risk in the eyes of a buyer, which is why accounting matters to enterprise value. Required:
- 7+ years in accounting including 3+ years leading a team
- multi-client experience (public practice, outsourced accounting, or multi-entity controller)
- solid Xero and QuickBooks Online
- ecommerce accounting (Shopify, Amazon, multi-currency)
- strong technical accounting
- fluent business English
- the ability to coach Fully remote from anywhere in the world, with overlap with North American business hours.
