Position: Truck Driver [General]

Salary: $78,000 - $88,000 plus Superannuation

Key Responsibilities

- Drive heavy trucks to transport agricultural, horticultural and other goods between designated locations.
- Check vehicle condition, tyres, fluids and safety equipment to ensure the truck is safe to operate.
- Estimate and monitor load weights to comply with legal load limits and ensure secure weight distribution.
- Secure and cover loads appropriately to prevent movement, loss or damage during transportation.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate lifting, tipping and handling equipment.
- Verify delivery documentation, check the condition of goods and obtain required delivery confirmations.




- Manoeuvre trucks into position for safe loading and unloading of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, vehicle checks and relevant transport activities.

To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:

- Relevant AQF Certificate II or equivalent qualification and at least 1 year of relevant experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Appropriate heavy vehicle driver's licence required to operate the relevant truck.
- Demonstrated experience in safely operating heavy trucks and transporting agricultural or horticultural goods.
- Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, load securing, vehicle checks and transport safety requirements.
