Next Global Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Perth-based team. We specialise in sourcing skilled talent locally and internationally to support workforce requirements across Western Australia's mining, resources, construction and hospitality industries.

This is a hands-on recruitment role suited to someone who understands the trades market, knows how to identify quality candidates and enjoys managing the recruitment process from sourcing and screening through to placement and mobilisation.

About the role

Working closely with our operations team and clients, you will manage recruitment activities for a range of skilled trades and blue-collar positions, with a primary focus on mining and resources.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Sourcing and attracting qualified tradespeople through job boards, databases, referrals, social media and international recruitment channels.

- Recruiting for roles such as Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers, Welders, Heavy Diesel Fitters, HD Fitters, Automotive Electricians and other mining-related trades.

- Reviewing resumes, conducting candidate screening and assessing technical experience, qualifications, safety awareness and suitability for client requirements.

- Coordinating interviews, reference checks, skills assessments and pre-employment requirements.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, clients and relevant stakeholders.





- Managing candidate pipelines, recruitment databases and reporting.

- Coordinating candidate onboarding, mobilisation and placement activities.

- Supporting international recruitment campaigns and employer-sponsored recruitment processes where required.

- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and ensuring compliance with relevant recruitment and employment processes.

About you

You are a proactive recruiter who understands the challenges of sourcing skilled tradespeople in a competitive labour market. You are comfortable engaging with candidates from diverse backgrounds and can manage multiple vacancies while maintaining a high standard of candidate care.

To be successful, you will have:

- A minimum of 2 years' relevant recruitment experience, preferably in blue-collar, trades or technical recruitment.

- Demonstrated experience recruiting skilled tradespeople for the mining, resources or related industries.

- Experience sourcing and screening candidates for roles such as Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers, Welders, Heavy Diesel Fitters and Automotive Electricians.

- Strong candidate assessment, communication and relationship-building skills.

- The ability to manage multiple vacancies,



prioritise workloads and meet recruitment deadlines.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Confidence using recruitment systems, candidate databases and online sourcing platforms.

- Full Australian working rights.

- Familiarity with Australian employer-sponsored visa processes, particularly the Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482), and experience working with registered migration agents or migration teams would be an advantage.

- A formal qualification in Human Resource Management, Recruitment, Business or a related discipline.
