About the role

We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians and Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our growing mining maintenance team supporting surface and underground operations across Western Australia. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing a diverse fleet of underground and surface mining equipment while ensuring maximum equipment availability and reliability. This role offers a combination of workshop and field service work, including breakdown response, scheduled maintenance, component change-outs, fault finding, and machine commissioning.

Key responsibilities

Auto Electricians

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on mining and mobile plant equipment.

- Conduct fault finding on electrical and control systems.

- Install, maintain, and repair wiring harnesses, lighting systems, sensors, and machine electronics.

- Calibrate and configure OEM monitoring and control systems.

- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and servicing.

- Provide breakdown support in both surface and underground environments.

- Accurately complete maintenance reports and service documentation.

HD Fitters

- Perform scheduled servicing, repairs, and maintenance of mining equipment.

- Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and driveline faults.





- Conduct component replacements including engines, transmissions, differentials, pumps, and hydraulic systems.

- Complete machine inspections and defect reporting.

- Carry out breakdown repairs in field service and workshop environments.

- Ensure equipment availability is maintained to support production targets.

About you

- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician or Heavy Diesel Mechanic.

- Demonstrated experience in mining, civil, or heavy equipment maintenance.

- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.

- Commitment to safety and safe work practices.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

- Underground mining experience (highly desirable).

- Field service experience (highly desirable).

- Working at Heights certification (highly desirable).
