About the role

Norah Head Holiday Park - We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping professional to join our team at Norah Head Holiday Park in Norah Head, NSW. This is a casual position that plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort and presentation across our facilities. Your work will directly contribute to creating welcoming, hygienic environments that enhance guest experiences and reflect our commitment to excellence in hospitality. This casual role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team.

Key responsibilities

- Performing daily cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas and facilities to maintain immaculate standards

- Changing bed linens, towels and other guest amenities in a timely and efficient manner

- Inspecting rooms and facilities for cleanliness, damage and maintenance issues, reporting any concerns to management

- Restocking guest supplies including toiletries, towels, and other essentials

- Maintaining cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, lifts and other shared spaces

- Operating cleaning equipment and using appropriate cleaning products safely and effectively

- Managing waste disposal and recycling in accordance with facility procedures

- Responding promptly to guest requests and special cleaning needs

- Maintaining organisation and efficiency in housekeeping storage areas and supply rooms

- Adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar hospitality role is highly desirable

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards

- Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods

- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to accommodate casual shift requirements





- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently to meet daily targets

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and responsiveness to guest needs

- Valuable communication skills and a friendly, qualified demeanor

- Understanding of health and safety procedures and commitment to maintaining safe working practices

- Relevant certifications or training in cleaning practices or hospitality is a plus
