ECi Executive is partnering with several established engineering consultancies across Perth seeking experienced Structural Engineers at Intermediate and Senior level to join their growing building structures teams.

With solid project pipelines across commercial, residential, mixed-use and institutional developments, these opportunities offer exposure to technically challenging structural design projects, including major multi-storey and high-rise buildings.

We are looking to connect with engineers who enjoy solving complex structural challenges, taking ownership of their designs and working collaboratively with architects, builders and multidisciplinary project teams.

Whether you're an Intermediate Engineer looking to broaden your technical experience or an established Senior Engineer seeking greater project responsibility, we have opportunities to suit different experience levels and career aspirations.

Project Exposure

Depending on the consultancy and position, projects may include:

- Multi-storey commercial buildings and office developments
- High-rise residential towers and apartment complexes
- Mixed-use developments and retail centres
- Healthcare, education and institutional facilities
- Government and public sector buildings
- Structural refurbishment, strengthening and remediation projects
- Complex reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete and structural steel structures

The Role

Working within experienced structural engineering teams, you will contribute to the design and delivery of building projects from initial concept through to construction.
Your responsibilities may include:

- Undertake structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete and structural steel building structures
- Develop practical, efficient and technically sound structural design solutions
- Manage structural design packages from concept and detailed design through to construction support




- Prepare and review structural calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation
- Work closely with architects, builders, developers and multidisciplinary engineering consultants
- Coordinate structural documentation with drafting and BIM teams
- Undertake design reviews and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide technical input during construction, including responding to RFIs and reviewing structural details
- Contribute to project planning, programme delivery and quality assurance
- Support and mentor junior engineers where appropriate

For Senior Structural Engineers, opportunities may also include leading structural design packages, managing project deliverables, providing technical guidance and developing client relationships.

About You

We are interested in speaking with technically capable Structural Engineers who have experience in building structures and are looking to develop their careers within the Perth consulting market.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Approximately 4–9+ years' structural engineering experience within a consulting environment
- Proven experience designing commercial buildings, multi-storey residential developments or similar building structures
- Strong technical understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel design
- Exposure to post-tensioned concrete design will be advantageous
- Experience using structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SpaceGASS, RAM Concept, RAPT, Strand7 or similar
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and structural design requirements




- Ability to coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Australian structural engineering consulting experience highly regarded
- CPEng accreditation or progress towards Chartership advantageous, but not essential
