We are seeking a dedicated Health and Physical Education Teacher to join our HPE Department for the 2027 school year.

Placing students at the heart of everything we do, the successful candidate will be committed to ‘Cura Personalis’: care for the whole person in support of educational best practice.

Key responsibilities

- Teach Health and Physical Education across Years 7–12, including senior courses as allocated.

- Plan, deliver and assess learning programs aligned with the SCSA curriculum and College assessment policies.

- Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs, including reasonable adjustments where required.

- Use assessment data and feedback to monitor student progress and inform teaching.





- Use digital technologies to support learning, assessment and communication.

- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and meet reporting and administrative deadlines.

- Provide a high standard of pastoral care aligned with the College's commitment to cura personalis (care for the whole person).

- Foster a classroom culture of respect, participation and inclusion.

- Contribute to the College's sport and co-curricular program as allocated, which may include coaching or managing a team.

- Work collegially with faculty colleagues and contribute to faculty planning and improvement.

About you

- Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification.

- Health and Physical Education as a major teaching area.

- Current TRBWA registration.

- Current Working with Children Check.

- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills as a Health and Physical Education teacher.

- A proven understanding of recent teaching methodology, including differentiation of the curriculum.

- Willingness to contribute to the College's sport and co-curricular program.

- A robust desire to be involved in the education of the whole child: socially, emotionally, spiritually and academically.

- Willingness to support the Catholic and Ignatian tradition of the College.

- An enjoyment of working with young people.
