We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Three Springs Talc Operations, willing to learn and develop in more than one area for purposes of multi-tasking.

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician you will be required to service, maintain, repair and assemble machinery and equipment within the workshop, pit (i.e. haul trucks, front-end loaders, trucks, grader, drill rig and excavators) or processing plant, according to job specifications.

The Maintenance Technician may be required to work in the pit during machine shuts or in the event of a breakdown. In these cases the Maintenance Technician is required to fault find and make necessary repairs to either restore equipment to full function or enable transport to the workshop for further servicing. The Maintenance Technician will be required to climb onto or into machinery to access tasks, including small and awkward working areas including while carrying and manipulating tools or parts.

Experience in operating earth moving equipment would be an advantage as the role may be required to operate various pieces of mining equipment in the pit and plant areas. Your commitment to safety and continual improvement, together with a positive “can do” attitude and flexibility, is essential. You will work in a multi-skilled environment as part of a team with a commitment to safe work practices and a focus on continuous improvement.

Shift Cycle:

Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 6.00pm (3 daily scheduled breaks)





Main Working Area and Vehicles:

- Predominantly working in the Workshop and in the field as required.

- Operating dump trucks and loaders, potentially excavator, dozer, grader and drill rig operations

License or Skill Requirements:

- WA Drivers License

- Imerys Three Springs specific training

Various internal training and competency assessments, and/or external training resources will be undertaken by all personnel in this role.
