Senior BI Analyst

- 3 months initial contract with potential extension
- Drive enterprise Power BI reporting initiatives

We are seeking an experienced Senior BI Analyst to join a high-performing Business Insights team and play a key role in delivering critical reporting and analytics initiatives across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a BI professional with strong Power BI development expertise, a passion for data visualisation, and the ability to translate business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, document, and translate reporting requirements into effective BI solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and visualisations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Build and optimise data models, DAX measures, KPIs, calculations, and reporting logic to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure data quality, integrity, and reporting accuracy.
- Support solution testing, deployment, documentation, governance compliance, and continuous improvement of reporting platforms and dashboards.

Key Skills & Experience

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Power BI reports, dashboards,



and analytical solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modelling best practices.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Power BI Semantic Models and working with complex datasets.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to gather requirements and present insights effectively.
- Experience working with contemporary data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or similar technologies.

Desirable Experience

- Exposure to Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Data Lake, Redshift, or Athena environments.
- Experience implementing security and governance controls within Power BI.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD practices, and Power BI deployment frameworks.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
