Draftsperson – Custom Residential Builder

About the Company

Our client isn't your average WA home builder. They're known for architecturally inspired homes that break the mold, custom-designs up to $5m.

With a solid pipeline of high-profile projects and continued growth, they are now seeking an Draftsperson to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

Your Role

As Draftsperson, you'll take a lead role in translating creative, client-driven design concepts into accurate, buildable working drawings. You'll work across a range of custom projects, taking ownership from concept through to construction documentation, ensuring every design stays true to the brand's individual, non-cookie-cutter approach.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Produce and oversee working drawings for custom high end residential projects

- Interpret architectural concepts and client briefs into accurate, construction-ready documentation

- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, engineers and the construction team throughout the design process

- Ensure all drawings comply with WA building codes, standards and site-specific requirements

- Mentor and support junior drafters within the design team

- Manage multiple projects concurrently,



balancing design quality with project timelines

Skills & Experience

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Proven experience as a Draftsperson with a WA residential builder

- Strong technical drafting skills across custom, non-standard home designs

- Confident knowledge of ARCHICAD, WA building codes, construction methodology and site conditions

- The ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members

- Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients and consultants directly

- A practical, detail-focused mindset with genuine care for design integrity
