ICON Engineering is a privately owned, Perth-based offshore engineering company, established in 1997. We provide end-to-end engineering and delivery across wellhead platforms, rig modifications, brownfields, field development, subsea, decommissioning and specialist oilfield equipment — from concept and feasibility studies through design, procurement and construction to offshore execution — for operators and drilling contractors in Australia, South-East Asia and internationally. Our project workload over the next twelve months requires additional engineering, project delivery and design capability across several business lines. We are inviting expressions of interest from professionals at all levels. Some roles are available immediately; others will commence between January and mid-2027 as projects progress. Full-time, contract, part time and casual arrangements are all available depending on the role.

Engineering

- Structural Engineers — engineer through to principal level; offshore structures design and analysis, deliverable authorship and checking, client-facing lead roles

- Mechanical Engineers — senior level; hydraulic systems, winches, equipment design and package engineering

- Installation / Transportation and Installation (T&I;) Engineers — senior and lead level; offshore methods, loadout, seafastening, lifting and installation engineering

- Piping Engineers and Piping Designers

- Graduate Engineers and Engineering Interns — 2027 intake,



structural or mechanical

Project delivery

- Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers — structural or mechanical background; procurement, vendor interface, package engineering, implementation support

- Package Leads

- Offshore Installation / Implementation Project Engineers — rostered offshore roles from January 2027

- Site-based T&I; Project Engineers — campaign roles, February to April 2027

- Project Managers and Senior Project Managers — rig modifications, brownfields, wellhead platforms, equipment and subsea; mechanical and hydraulics experience highly regarded

- Interface Coordinators and Project Coordinators

Design and project controls

- Structural CAD Designers / Draftspersons — Inventor experience highly regarded; animation skills an advantage

- Laser Scan / Survey Technicians

- Project Planners — Primavera P6 and MS Project

- Cost Controllers — senior and junior

- Document Controllers

- QA/QC Coordinators — casual, on-call pool

- HSE Coordinators

- Technical Sales Engineer — business development support for rig modifications and equipment

About you

- Relevant engineering, trade or technical qualification for the role

- Offshore oil and gas experience; brownfields, rig modifications, wellhead platform or offshore installation experience an advantage

- For offshore roles: current offshore survival training, offshore medical and site access credentials, or willingness to obtain

- Unrestricted Australian work rights, or eligibility for employer sponsorship
