About the role

Operating bobcats, 5T and 8T excavators, loaders and other plant across civil excavation, trenching and road reinstatement works. You'll undertake sewer connections and drainage installations, wastewater treatment system installations (ATU / septic), prepare sand pads and leach drain areas, and carry out site preparation, backfilling and finishing to a high standard. You'll also cart sand and materials for civil jobs and support installers, plumbers and crews as required. Working across residential, rural and commercial civil projects, you'll need to adapt across different site conditions and get the detail right every time.

Key responsibilities

- Operating bobcats, 5T and 8T excavators, loaders and other plant

- Civil excavation, trenching and road reinstatement works

- Sewer connections and drainage installations

- Wastewater treatment system installations (ATU / septic)





- Preparing sand pads and leach drain areas

- Site preparation, backfilling and finishing to a high standard

- Carting sand and materials for civil jobs

- Supporting installers, plumbers and crews as required

About you

- Excellent experience operating bobcats and 5T/8T excavators — essential

- Robust civil works background, particularly road reinstatement

- Wide-ranging experience across civil, drainage, plumbing or wastewater work

- Genuine attention to detail and pride in producing clean, accurate work

- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work well in a small team

- White Card and current driver's licence

- HR Licence - essential

- HC licence — highly regarded

- Additional machinery tickets — highly regarded

- Drainage or plumbing experience — highly regarded
