About the role

We need qualified traffic controllers to start straight away on road, civil and construction sites across Melbourne's north-eastern suburbs, including Preston, Reservoir, Heidelberg, Bundoora, Greensborough, Thomastown and Epping areas.

Key responsibilities

- Controlling traffic safely with a stop-slow bat

- Setting up and packing down signs, cones and barriers to the approved Traffic Management Plan

- Keeping the public, workers and plant secure around the work zone

- Talking clearly with site supervisors, crews and the public

- Following site safety procedures at all times

About you

- RIIWHS205E – Control traffic with stop-slow bat (Traffic Controller), or an earlier equivalent version (essential)

- RIIWHS302E – Implement traffic management plan (essential)

- Construction Induction Card (White Card) (essential)

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport (essential)

- Australian working rights (essential)





- Experience on VicRoads/DTP road or arterial jobs (desirable)

- Current First Aid certificate (desirable)

- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

- Physically fit and able to stand outdoors for long shifts in all weather

- Your own steel-capped boots
