Noble Consulting Surveyors
Perth
Noble Surveys is looking for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to deliver construction set-out, as-constructed surveys and engineering survey work across mining and civil construction projects throughout Western Australia.
If you have Australian site experience, can confidently manage your own survey work and are looking for competitive remuneration, long-term employment security and a supportive team, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU GET
- Competitive hourly remuneration + superannuation, based on your relevant Australian site experience, technical capability and suitability for the role.
- Permanent full-time employment with the security of ongoing work and a strong project pipeline.
- FIFO from Perth, with flights and camp accommodation provided on rostered swings.
- 8:6 standard roster, with 2:2 and 2:1 options where project requirements allow.
- 12-hour site days on FIFO projects.
- Access to quality survey equipment, including Trimble systems, drones and laser scanners.
- A supportive WA-based team, with Perth office backup when you need assistance with equipment, data or client issues.
- Opportunities to take on greater responsibility as Noble Surveys continues to grow.
THE ROLE
You will deliver engineering survey services across mining and civil construction projects in WA, working independently on site while maintaining clear communication with clients and the wider Noble Surveys team.
Your work will include:
- Construction set-out and as-constructed surveys.
- Topographic pickups, as-built surveys and volume calculations.
- Survey support for mining,
civil construction and infrastructure projects.
- Drone surveys and laser scanning where required.
- End-of-month quantities, survey records and accurate data management.
- Direct communication with client representatives and site teams.
Projects may be located across Perth, Peel, the South West, Pilbara, Goldfields and Mid West, depending on operational requirements.
You will be trusted to manage your daily survey work, solve practical site problems and represent Noble Surveys professionally on site.
WHAT YOU NEED
Essential requirements:
- Demonstrated experience on Australian mining or civil construction sites. Experience in either sector is sufficient.
- Diploma in Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
- Current Australian driver's licence and White Card.
- Ability to independently set up, check and operate survey equipment, complete fieldwork and troubleshoot routine issues.
- Confidence working with site teams and delivering accurate survey results.
- Unrestricted or otherwise suitable work rights for the position in Australia.
Australian site experience is essential. Overseas experience alone will not meet this requirement.
Experience that will help you stand out:
- Trimble survey equipment and Trimble Access.
- AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center (TBC) or similar survey software.
- Drone surveying, Riegl systems or laser scanning.
- Experience across multiple project types, including civil construction, infrastructure and mining.
You do not need to know every system we use. Strong site capability, sound surveying fundamentals and a willingness to learn current equipment and workflows are more important than ticking every software box.
