Are you an experienced Sushi Chef looking for a great opportunity with a busy sushi business?

OK Sushi is looking for skilled, reliable and motivated sushi chefs to join our team. We are seeking experienced professionals who can prepare high-quality sushi efficiently and take pride in their work.

We are particularly looking for chefs with strong sushi roll-making skills, as sushi rolls are an important part of our business, along with excellent nigiri and sashimi preparation skills.

POSITION 1: FULL-TIME ALL-ROUND SUSHI CHEF

Salary: $65,000 per annum

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced all-round Sushi Chef who can confidently handle all aspects of sushi preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare a wide variety of sushi rolls quickly and consistently

- Prepare high-quality nigiri sushi

- Prepare fresh sashimi with excellent knife skills

- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control

- Follow food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards

- Work independently and efficiently in a busy kitchen

- Assist with daily sushi preparation and kitchen operations

What We Are Looking For

- Proven experience as an all-round Sushi Chef

- Strong skills in sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi

- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail





- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods

- A reliable, organised and positive attitude

- Someone who takes pride in producing quality sushi

POSITION 2: CASUAL EXPERIENCED SUSHI CHEF

We are also looking for an experienced casual Sushi Chef to provide additional support to our team.

What We Require

- Previous professional sushi-making experience

- Confident skills in sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi

- Ability to work quickly while maintaining high standards

- Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic

- Availability to work agreed shifts as required

Casual pay will be based on experience, skills and applicable employment conditions.
