About Predelo

Predelo builds workforce forecasting and labour-modelling software for multi-site retail and hospitality operators in Australia and the United States. Our platform forecasts demand, models labour requirements and pushes optimised rosters into customers' workforce management systems.

The role

You will own Predelo's production platform end to end: its multi-tenant architecture, cloud infrastructure, customer data integrations, security and compliance. You'll be the senior technical authority for the platform, reporting to the CEO and working directly with enterprise customers' technical teams.

Key responsibilities

- Own the architecture of a multi-tenant B2B SaaS platform, including tenant isolation, authentication brokering and per-tenant credential management.

- Design and run serverless infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway), managed as code in Terraform Cloud.

- Lead AI-assisted engineering across the platform, using agentic coding tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) to design, build, review and test production code and infrastructure, and set the standards, guardrails and review practices the team works to.

- Design PostgreSQL schemas on Supabase, including row-level security policies, edge functions and tenant-scoped data access.

- Build and maintain integrations with workforce management systems, in particular the Deputy API: loading roster, timesheet and location data, and writing schedules back.

- Run Predelo's integration layer on an embedded iPaaS (Prismatic): connector components, deployment and per-customer configuration.

- Administer the Databricks workspace that hosts Predelo's forecasting and data pipelines, including access, compute and production job reliability.

- Lead Predelo's information-security programme, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness, access control and audit evidence.

- Own production monitoring and incident response across customer environments in Australian and US time zones.

- Act as technical lead on enterprise customer onboarding, including US multi-site food and beverage operators.

- Maintain the Next.js / React / TypeScript customer portal and its deployment pipeline on Vercel.

Essential requirements

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent, plus at least 8 years of qualified software engineering experience.

- At least 2 years as the technical owner of a production multi-tenant SaaS platform.

- Hands-on production experience with all of: AWS serverless, Terraform, PostgreSQL row-level security (Supabase preferred), and TypeScript / Next.js.

- Advanced, day-to-day use of agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex on production systems, including multi-agent workflows, automated code review and safe use with infrastructure as code.

- Demonstrated delivery of integrations with workforce management or rostering systems (Deputy strongly preferred).

- Experience implementing or operating an ISO 27001 or SOC 2 control environment.

- Experience with an embedded iPaaS (Prismatic or similar) and with Databricks administration.

- Experience supporting enterprise customers in both Australia and the United States.

How to apply
