Morris Mining | Central QLD | FIFO | $1,300+ per Shift | 3+ Month Contract

Morris Mining is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer to oversee the expansion of an existing underground hard rock operation in Central Queensland.

The Role

Acting as the Owner's Representative as a Project Engineer and reporting to the Project Manager, you will:

- Oversee engineering activities across the mine expansion project.

- Coordinate with site teams and key stakeholders to drive project delivery.

- Provide technical oversight of mine development, design and scheduling.

- Ensure project milestones are delivered on time, within budget and with minimal scope creep.

About You

- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.

- 4+ years' experience in underground hard rock mining; development, tunnelling, stoping and production, block caving.

- Strong proficiency in 3D mine modelling, and mine scheduling.





- Proven track record of delivering projects.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Driven, confident and commercially minded, with robust leadership skills and attention to detail.

- Current manual driver's licence and willingness to work 12-hour rostered shifts.

- Full working rights in Australia are essential.
