Lead HR compliance audits from first call to final report, and be the advisor clients rely on to get it right. Why you’ll love this role
• Own audits end-to-end
- no handing off halfway through
• Real variety across awards, pay compliance, contracts and policy
• Be the first face clients meet when they join Citation HR About the Opportunity At Citation HR, no two audits look the same. One morning you might be working out which award covers a growing hospitality business and whether their team is being paid correctly. By afternoon, you’re reviewing contracts and policies for a professional services firm getting its HR foundations in place. That range isn’t accidental
- it’s the point. As a Workplace Relations Consultant, you’ll lead HR compliance audits from the initial audit call through to the report and implementation call, giving clients explicit, commercially focused advice on award coverage and classification, pay-rate compliance, employment contracts, contractor agreements and workplace policies. You’ll own each audit end to end, and you’ll have the backing of your Technical Manager and the wider Citation HR advisory team whenever a matter needs a second view. What you'll be responsible for You’ll join the HR & WHS Advisory team at Citation HR, reporting to the Technical Manager. You’ll help businesses reduce their legal and commercial risk through accurate, practical advice and documentation.

We're a growing business, and our consultants regularly move into senior and specialist roles across the broader Citation Group. If you're ambitious, there's room to move. Variety you won't find in-house. Working across hundreds of clients means you'll encounter situations that most in-house HR professionals see once in a career
- and you'll build the judgment that comes with that. A culture worth joining. We've been recognised as an Employer of Choice nine times
- not because we put it on a plaque, but because our people stay, grow, and tell others to apply. We work hard, move fast, and back each other. Flexibility that works. Hybrid and flexible arrangements. Who we're looking for You're probably a few years into your HR or ER career and you're hungry for more

• Advanced award literacy, including role classification and pay compliance
• Some experience drafting contracts, policies and handbooks
• A pragmatic, commercial approach
- you give advice people can actually act on
• The ability to manage multiple clients and priorities without dropping the ball
• A genuine drive to be excellent at what you do, not just competent Formal qualifications in Law or HR are desirable but not essential if your experience speaks for itself. Why Citation Group?
