- Manufacturing & SD role is a remote, Australia-based contract position focused on supporting and optimizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne manufacturing and sales & distribution (SD) processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, configuring and maintaining JD Edwards modules, and troubleshooting production issues related to manufacturing operations and order-to-cash workflows. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to design process improvements, performing system testing, and preparing documentation and training materials for end users.



The professional in this role will also support data validation, monitor system performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure stable, efficient, and compliant operations. Qualifications
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders, and to clearly document requirements and solutions.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering and manufacturing operations, with the ability to translate production workflows and constraints into JD Edwards configurations.
• Hands-on background in manufacturing processes and systems, including familiarity with shop floor activities, inventory management, and supply chain practices.
• Ability to deliver training, user support, and knowledge transfer on JD Edwards manufacturing and SD functionalities to diverse teams.
• Practical experience implementing or supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (Manufacturing and SD modules) or similar ERP solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on process optimization.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, contract setting and managing priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Relevant degree or diploma in engineering, information systems, business, or a related field; professional certifications in JD Edwards or ERP implementation are an advantage.
