As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a temporary or contract basis and help ensure our people are paid accurately and on time.

About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services across a large and dynamic workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly become a valuable member of the team.

Key Responsibilities
• End-to-end payroll processing across weekly and fortnightly pay cycles
• Processing new starters, terminations, leave, and payroll adjustments
• Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring data integrity
• Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, and employment contracts
• Responding to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation requirements
• Payroll reconciliations and reporting




• Supporting payroll audits and continuous process improvements About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
• Previous experience in a Payroll Officer, Payroll Administrator, or similar position
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and award interpretation
• Experience working within medium to large organisations
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with payroll systems such as Micropay, Chris21, ADP, Employment Hero, Workday, SAP, or similar (highly regarded) What's on Offer
