About the role
We are currently looking for a Junior Transmission Lines Engineer
- GridLinkx to join our Brisbane office. The Junior Transmission Line Engineer will deliver high-quality engineering and will be joining as a member of the strongest technical leadership team of Lines Engineering in Asia Pacific. They will be overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the end-to-end design of Transmission Lines including modelling, design of structures, and foundations.
• Concept and Detailed Design of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD software
• Modelling of structures using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE




• Foundation designs – varying from normal concrete foundations to pile foundations
• Site visits and inspections as required
• Drafting design reports
• Assisting with the preparation of proposals ? What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor Degree in Civil, Structural or Electrical (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1 years of transmission lines experience
• Proficiency in PLS software (PLS-CADD, TOWER and POLE) desirable
• Familiarity with Australian and international codes and standards relevant to transmission infrastructure (e.g., AS/NZS 7000, ASCE 74, and ASCE 10)
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and delivery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
