Trinity College, University of Melbourne, Parkville, Victoria Commencement: January 2027 Remuneration: As per applicable award and employment classification gather by Cater Care is seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join our new food service operation at Trinity College, opening in January 2027. As part of the kitchen team, you will support our chefs, maintain a clean and organised kitchen, and ensure crockery, utensils and equipment are ready for service. Your contribution will be essential to keeping daily operations running smoothly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. With a range of weekday and weekend shifts available, this is an opportunity to join a new team in a distinguished university college setting and take pride in the work that happens behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate dishwashing equipment and clean crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen utensils
• Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, equipment, floors and wash-up areas to maintain high hygiene standards
• Keep kitchen areas organised and ensure clean equipment and utensils are ready for service
• Support chefs with basic kitchen duties, including organising supplies and preparing work areas




• Manage rubbish and waste disposal in accordance with established procedures
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements Desired Skills And Experience What You Will Bring
• A reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to contribute to a busy kitchen team
• Previous kitchen hand, dishwashing or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous
• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene and detail
• The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A team-focused approach and the ability to perform physical kitchen duties safely
• A willingness to complete relevant pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check and Working With Children Check, as applicable Available Rosters A Range Of Permanent Part-time Roster Options Are Available
• Weekday mornings: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am
- 2:00 pm | 32.5 hours per week
• Weekday evenings: Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm
- 9:00 pm | 20 hours per week
• High-table service: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 pm
- 9:00 pm | 16 hours per week
• Weekend mornings: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am
- 2:00 pm | 13 hours per week
• Weekend evenings: Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 pm
