About The Opportunity Gather by Cater Care is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our key education sites in Darlinghurst, NSW. Roster: (during school term) Tuesday
- 8:00 am
- 3:00pm Wednesday
- 7:00 am
- 3:00 pm Friday
- 8:00 am
- 3:00 pm What’s On Offer

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service
- serving meals and snacks
• Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods
- with a good attitude The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Possession of a valid, current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory.
• Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or commercial catering environments is highly regarded.
• Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation or customer service
• POS experience highly regarded
• Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential for student interaction.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment is required.




• Full availability to commit to roster across weekdays
• Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and food safety is expected. Desired Skills And Experience The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or commercial catering environments is highly regarded.
