W Sydney is now casting for a Mix Bar Attendant to execute the daily mix bar operations for the hotel. Reporting to the In Room Dining Manager, this integral role will work closely with the In Room Dining team to ensure that all the mix bars in the hotels are maintained, restocked, and set up as per the hotel standards. If you love running around checking rooms, sorting, restocking, working fast, working on your own but within a team……. this role is for you. JOB SUMMARY The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all mix bars across the hotels are checked daily to ensure that any beverage and food consumption is restocked and charged to the right guest in a timely manner. The mix bar attendant must maintain the standard set ups in the room and manage the stock control for daily operation. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES The core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Checking mix bar in guest rooms, restocking mix bar and charging as per consumption.
• Complete opening and closing duties for the department.
• Maintaining the par level stock control for mix bar products in the main store and the mix bar trolleys for daily operations.
• Conducting regular expiry checks for all products and removing items from guest room prior to expiry.
• Investigate any guest disputes on mix bar charges and report to the management.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
• Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all chinaware, glassware, and silverware in the mix bar set up in the rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day,



practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Maintain, track and complete daily worksheet of mix bar stock.
• Raise store requisition and obtain stock from purchasing and store in the assigned storerooms.
• Maintain and complete assigned floors and rooms requesting Mix Bar service.
• Maintain the highest level of customer service and always display professionalism.
• Follows all required safety and standard procedures.
• Ensure rotation of all mix-bar products based on a First In First Out strategy.
• Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storerooms.
• Communicate effectively with Mix Bar Supervisor any issues and/or concerns.
• Ensure all duties found in the mix bar inspection/attendant evaluation checklist are followed including completing assigned floors, cleanliness of assigned mix bars, menus are present, inventory is complete, and refill reports are accurately filled out.
• Always display appropriate two-way radio etiquette.
• Report all mix bar concerns to management including any guest issues.
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
• Knowledge of Point-of-sale systems, Handheld devices, inventory, and store requisition software and reporting tools. BENEFITS
