• Lead and support strategic initiatives across Telstra Enterprise (TE) and Commercial Negotiation & Contracting (CN&C;)



to deliver commercial outcomes and business objectives.
• Provide commercial and contract management support across the team, proactively stepping in where needed to enable successful outcomes and effective risk management.
• Develop and manage commercial frameworks that support profitable, deliverable outcomes for Telstra and its customers.
• Assess commercial risk, contract obligations, pricing assumptions and financial impacts across assigned accounts and opportunities.
• Recommend commercial positions, contract structures and risk mitigation approaches that align with governance requirements and delegated authority.
• Lead or support customer negotiations, contract variations, proposals and commercial issue resolution.
• Provide clear commercial and contractual advice to Sales, Delivery, Pricing, Legal and other stakeholders, including guidance on liability, warranty, indemnity and other risk positions.
• Review pricing, margin, service credits, liquidated damages and delivery assumptions to support commercially viable customer outcomes.
• Maintain solid customer and internal stakeholder relationships to support effective delivery, governance and timely issue closure About You
• Bachelor’s degree in business, law or a related discipline
• 6+ years working with working with large Enterprise/government customers and complex deals
• Experience in negotiating complex contracts of medium/high value
• Extensive experience with complex commercial framework design across multi-domains
• Extensive experience in commercial assessment of risks and issues,
• Strong experience in engaging and influencing a large and complex stakeholder group, and collaboration across virtual teams to short deadlines.
• Financial acumen including understanding and development of costs, prices, P&L;, and associated financial metrics.




• Experience with legal contract terms and conditions, including liability and indemnity clauses.
