• Wellbeing support – mental health resources and lifestyle discounts About Simpson Health Centre Simpson Barracks is located at Yallambie (approx. 40 mins NE of Melbourne CBD). Predominately a Forces Command training base supporting Defence Force School of Signals (tri-service technicians & operators, electronic warfare systems), Defence Force School of Music (tri-service musicians) and the Army Education Centre. This Army base services approximately 6000 Defence members and operates a 9-bed low dependency ward 24/7. The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental and mental health services.



Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts). What you’ll do
• Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
• Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care What you bring
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum one-year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting within the last 5 years
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
