Job Description – Cleaner

Position: Cleaner / Housekeeping Staff

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, and common areas.
- Wipe and disinfect surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and frequently touched areas.
- Clean mirrors, glass panels, windows, and other surfaces as required.
- Empty rubbish bins and replace bin liners.
- Change bed linens and make beds when required.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.
- Follow cleaning checklists, workplace health and safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.




- Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
- Provide skilled, friendly, and respectful customer service.

Skills and Qualifications

- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.
- Honest, punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
- Willingness to follow instructions and cleaning procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Current National Police Clearance may be required.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport are an advantage.

Pay: From $26.44 per hour
