Ipsos Restaurant is looking for a waiter to join our young team on a full time basis. The restaurant is locate in the picturesque beach town of Lorne. A modern, fun take on Greek food with a focus on local produce and seasonality, Ipsos has received one hat from the age valuable food guide over each of the last 10 years.

Ipsos is offering an annual salary of between $80,000 and $85,000 plus supperannuation for this full time position.

The waiter role as waiter entails:

- Setting the restaurant for service based on bookings;
- Taking table and function bookings and operating booking system correctly, including phone messages and emails;
- Greeting customers and seating them according to table plan;
- Providing high quality customer service, including the provision of menus and drinks list and verbalisation of specials;




- Taking orders correctly and processing through the Point of Sale system in a manner which is consistent with our order of service and understandable by kitchen staff;
- Providing customers with assistance in their ordering to ensure the best possible experience;
- Providing drink recommendations including wine paring and cocktail paring to food;
- Serving drink and wine in the correct fashion including the provision of correct glass ware to suit wine choice and decanting wines when they require it;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, including cleaning tables, wiping down areas after use and sweeping beneath tables if necessary;
- Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers correctly including the processing of gift vouchers.
