- Hands-on experience across a large-scale mining operation As a HR Officer, you’ll provide support to the HR Superintendent across the site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing HR documentation, including investigation outcomes, warnings, performance improvement plans and termination correspondence
- Supporting fitness for work, return-to-work and absenteeism matters
- Building relationships with leaders and employees across site
- Working with Payroll, Travel and Site Administration to resolve employee related matters
- Supporting HR projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities




- Escalating complex employee relations matters where required To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in an HR Officer experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of employee relations, investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes
- Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A practical and confident approach to working with leaders at all levels
- Experience in mining, construction, civil, manufacturing or another industrial environment will be highly regarded
