About us
Balance Health Phillip Island is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic in the renovated old Warley Hospital in Cowes. Our physiotherapists, osteopaths and myotherapists work together and share care of clients. We won People's Choice in the Health, Wellbeing and Lifestyle category at the 2021 Bass Coast Business Awards, and the Business Award for Resilience in 2022.

We're a rural clinic, so our clients come from all walks of life. They're young and old, sporty and not, and they're funded privately or through NDIS, TAC, DVA, WorkSafe and aged care. Our team also has clinicians with interests in men's and women's health, sport, Clinical Pilates, neurology, chronic pain and vertigo, which means you'll have plenty of colleagues to learn from and refer to.

The role
We're looking for a qualified Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist to join us on a permanent part-time basis, working up to 16 hours a week over 3 days. Rooms are available at these times:

- Monday morning (5 hours)
- Wednesday afternoon (4 hours)




- Thursday afternoon (4 hours)
- Friday (all day)

In your cover letter, tell us which of these sessions you can work. We'll agree your final hours from those sessions. You'll have a mixed caseload of private clients and third-party funded clients, most of them funded through Support at Home (aged care).

You'll be paid a base wage plus commission, set according to your qualifications and experience.

Once employed you'll need
Professional indemnity insurance, a Medibank provider number, professional association membership, a Working with Children Check, a police check, and current First Aid and CPR.
