Tech Appliances Direct is an established Sydney service centre specialising in the repair and servicing of small appliances and home electronics.

We work with major appliance brands and are known for quality workmanship, clear communication and professional customer service.

As we continue to grow our appliance repair division, we are expanding into coffee machine repairs and are looking for an experienced technician to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Coffee Machine Repair Technician with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing domestic coffee machines.

However, we are also open to experienced electronics and appliance technicians who may not have specific coffee machine experience.

If you have strong electrical/electronic fault-finding skills, good mechanical understanding and experience repairing appliances or electronic equipment, we are happy to train the right person in coffee machine repair.

You will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and servicing, testing completed work, and communicating clearly about repair options where required.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair domestic coffee machines
- Work across brands including Breville, Nespresso, De’Longhi and similar brands
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Carry out pump, thermoblock, heating, grinder and related component repairs




- Perform servicing, cleaning and descaling where required
- Test machines thoroughly after repairs
- Identify parts required and accurately record job notes
- Communicate clearly regarding faults, repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional work area

What We're Looking ForExperienced Coffee Machine Technicians

Experienced Electronics & Appliance Technicians

Don't have coffee machine experience? That's okay.

We are also interested in technicians with robust experience in areas such as:

- Electronics repair
- Electrical fault finding
- Small appliance repair
- Domestic appliance repair
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- PCB and component-level diagnostics
- Motors, pumps, heating systems and related components

If you are confident diagnosing faults and understanding how electrical and mechanical systems work, we are willing to train the right person in coffee machine repair.

We're looking for someone who can diagnose problems and understand how things work, rather than someone who simply replaces parts.
