About the Opportunity

Happy Hearts Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Early Childhood Educator.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin a rewarding career in early childhood education while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification.

We offer 3 hours of paid, off-the-floor study time each week, along with practical training, mentoring and support from our experienced educators.

Previous childcare experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with children, a positive attitude and a commitment to learning.

About You

The successful applicant will:

- Have a genuine interest in early childhood education and children's development.
- Be caring, patient, enthusiastic and professional.
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to their work and study responsibilities.
- Demonstrate initiative, teamwork and a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Be committed to child safety, wellbeing and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Hold a current Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).




- Hold a current driver's licence and have access to reliable personal transport.
- Have appropriate Australian working rights.

Please note: Due to our location and limited reliable public transport options, personal transport is important. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Pay: From $28.68 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 38.0 per week
