About us
Ferguson Highlands is an adults-only farm stay set on 100 acres near the Ferguson Valley, about 1 hour from Bunbury. We have three private cabins surrounded by highland cows, olive groves, beehives and gardens, and our guests come to slow down and enjoy the quiet. We’re a small, family-run operation with a strong focus on sustainability: eco-friendly products and organic practices

About the role
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused casual cleaner to turn over our cabins between guest stays. Each clean sets the first impression for our guests, so we’re after someone who takes pride in leaving a space spotless and welcoming.

Work is based around guest check-outs and check-ins, so shifts mostly fall in the late morning to mid-afternoon window (roughly 10am–2pm), including weekends and public holidays. Hours vary week to week with bookings, with busier periods over summer, school holidays and long weekends.

Each clean takes anywhere from 1.5-2.5 hours depending on condition. There will be times when its one clean a day and others when it's all three.

What you’ll be doing

- Full cabin turnovers: kitchens, bathrooms,

bedrooms and living areas
- Changing linen and making beds
- Cleaning and checking outdoor areas, including decks and hot tubs
- Restocking guest supplies, amenities and welcome items
- Presenting each cabin to a consistent, high standard
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or low stock

What we’re looking for

- A sharp eye for detail and a “guest-ready” standard
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Available weekends and on short notice
- Own reliable vehicle and current driver’s licence (we’re a rural property)
- Comfortable using a smartphone app
- Physically fit for active work (lifting linen, bending, stairs and outdoor areas)

What we offer

- Adaptable casual hours that fit around other commitments
- A beautiful, peaceful rural workplace
- Supportive, friendly small-business team
- Ongoing work with year-round bookings

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 20.0 per week

Benefits:

- Referral program
- Travel reimbursement

Work Location: In person
