Kumo Brewhouse is seeking a dedicated and experienced barista who has a genuine passion for specialty coffee and hospitality to join our team

Hours/week: 18 hours/week

Tuesday 730am-530pm

Saturday 730am-430pm

Your day-to-day:

- Prepare espresso, filter, and specialty beverages with skill and precision.
- Maintain equipment, calibrations, and cleanliness to professional standards.
- Engage warmly with guests, providing genuine and attentive service.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume or specialty coffee venue.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with specialty coffee
- Deep knowledge of coffee — from extraction and milk texturing to bean profiles and brew ratios.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a small team.
- Pride in presentation, efficiency, and customer experience.
- The ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced workplace.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $27.97 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 per week
