We are looking to employ the right candidate as a casual or part-time Chef to work at Brick Pit Espresso. The successful candidate must possess a relevant diploma level qualification and have previous employment experience, or at least three to five years of relevant experience in the absence of any relevant qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Ensuring the food experience is exceptional and memorable
- Ensuring our customers are happy by serving them the best food possible
- Being a Brand Ambassador of White Horse Coffee and our family of cafes

Some of the main duties for the position are as follows:

- Have a thorough working knowledge of our food preparation and service system
- Food preparation required for the menu to the highest standard
- Fulfil all food orders for customers
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, costing and recipe development




- Assisting the Head Chef in stock control and ordering
- Receive delivered food stocks and supplies, verifying receipt of ordered items
- Maintain an efficient, safe and clean kitchen alongside other kitchen staff
- Assist Head Chef to train cafe staff in food preparation so they can assist when required
- Assist Head Chef to train staff how to display and serve all food items
- Ensure all staff know the ingredients in all menu items so they can answer customer enquiries
- Contribute to a culture of excellence by example, education and professional development
