We also provide domestic cleaning services to elderly clients receiving assistance through the Australian Government's Support at Home program, helping older Australians maintain a clean, safe and comfortable living environment while remaining independent in their own homes.

We are currently seeking reliable, experienced, compassionate and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaners to join our growing team.

About the Role

This position involves providing professional domestic cleaning services in private homes, including the homes of elderly clients.

Many of our clients are older Australians who value consistency, trust, kindness and respectful communication.

Some elderly clients express a preference for female cleaners due to personal comfort and privacy. We aim to accommodate individual client preferences where lawful, while welcoming applications from all suitably qualified candidates.

Greek and/or Spanish-speaking applicants are particularly encouraged to apply.
Some of our elderly clients prefer communicating in Greek or Spanish, and the ability to speak either language is highly valued.

We are looking for cleaners who understand the importance of treating elderly clients with patience, dignity, kindness and respect.

Key Responsibilities

- General domestic cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, toilets and kitchens.




- Maintaining clean, safe and hygienic living environments.
- Laundry and light household cleaning duties where required.
- Detailed cleaning and occasional spring cleaning services.
- Following individual client instructions and service requirements.
- Providing respectful, friendly and professional service to elderly clients.
- Maintaining punctuality, reliability and consistently high cleaning standards.

Essential Requirements

- Own reliable car – ESSENTIAL.
- Valid Australian driver's licence – ESSENTIAL.
- Ability to travel independently between clients' homes across Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
- Appropriate vehicle insurance.
- Previous domestic or residential cleaning experience preferred.
- Robust attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- Reliable, honest, punctual and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, compassion and understanding when working with elderly clients.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Ability to meet applicable aged care worker screening requirements, including a suitable police check or recognised worker screening clearance, where required.

Preferred Skills





- Greek and/or Spanish language skills are highly regarded, particularly for communicating with elderly clients who prefer speaking these languages.
- Previous experience providing domestic cleaning services to elderly clients.
- Experience working within aged care, home support or community care services.
- Understanding of the importance of privacy, dignity and respectful communication when entering clients' homes.
