OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Disability Support Workers preferably with nursing and aged care experience in the areas of Doncaster and Ringwood Vic who will be available for high care supports, long and short shifts, sleepovers and weekend shifts in our new house.

Exposure in all aspects of caring with Peg feeding experience and manual handling for our clients with daily living and personal care is highly regarded.

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE:

- Certificate IV in Disability or Cert 3 in Individual support
- NDIS screening check
- NDIS Worker Orientation module
- First aid
- CPR
- Covid Vaccination including booster.
- A current driver’s license (full license preferred)
- Passport
- Infection control
- Work With Children's check card
- Peg feeding
- Manual handling
- Medication administration
- Comprehensive car insurance (must be able to provide evidence).
- An Understanding and experience of Mental Health.
- Experience with high intensity clients, behavioral issues and trauma based in Individuals.
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a happy disposition
- Community access and transport

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.55 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Experience:

- Experience working with high intensity clients.
- Experience in behavioral and trauma based in Individuals.

License/Certification:

- N DIS Worker Screening (Required)
- First Aid (Required)
- Comprehensive Care Insurance (Required)
- Driver License (Required)
- Manual Handling (Preferred)
