The opportunity

This is a full-time, office-based sales role with achievable on-target earnings of $110,000–$150,000 per year.

You’ll help customers understand energy solutions, work through their questions and make an informed decision.

This isn’t just answering enquiries and passing them on. You’ll take ownership of your opportunities, follow up and ask for the sale.

What you’ll be doing

- Speaking with opt-in and inquiring customers over the phone to understand their energy needs and priorities.
- Explaining suitable solutions without overwhelming them with technical jargon.
- Preparing and discussing quotes, handling objections and closing sales.




- Following up consistently and keeping customers clear on the next step.
- Maintaining accurate customer notes and an organised sales pipeline.
- Working towards activity and sales targets, and improving your approach through feedback.

What we’re looking for

- We’re interested in your ability to connect with people and turn a conversation into a result, not whether your last job title matches this one.
- You could bring experience from retail, customer service, telco, automotive, hospitality or another customer-facing environment. If you’ve worked towards targets, recommended products or services, or won repeat business through your follow-up, tell us about it.

You’ll need:

- Confidence speaking with customers and explaining value.
- The ability to listen, ask questions and respond to objections.
- Motivation to work towards targets and earn through performance.
- Good organisation and the discipline to follow through.
- A willingness to learn the products and take feedback on board.
- Availability to work full time close to the city (and 2 minutes from public transport)
- You don’t need to know about the energy industry before applying. We’d rather hear how you approach customers, learn something new and keep going when a sale takes more than one conversation.
