Aged Care Cleaning & Laundry Attendants

Location: Gladesville 2111 NSW
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm OR 9:00am – 5:00pm (depending on role)

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and motivated Cleaning and Laundry Attendants to join our team at an aged care facility located in Gladesville NSW

We have positions available in both Cleaning and Laundry, with consistent Monday-to-Friday shifts.

The successful candidates will help maintain a clean, protected and hygienic environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties:

- Cleaning and sanitising residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting.
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

Laundry Duties:

- Washing, drying, folding and sorting residents' clothing, linen and towels.
- Operating commercial washing machines and dryers.
- Ensuring residents' laundry is handled with care and returned correctly.
- Maintaining a clean and organised laundry area.
- Following infection control and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

- Reliable,



punctual and hardworking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing cleaning or laundry duties.
- Previous cleaning, laundry or aged care experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to follow infection control, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.

Available Positions & Working Hours

Cleaning Attendant:

- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 2:00pm

Laundry Attendant:

- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 2:00pm OR 9:00am – 5:00pm

Applicants must be available to work their allocated shift consistently.
