About Us

180 Popcorn is a specialty popcorn brand offering a variety of freshly made gourmet popcorn flavours.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking team members to join our Highpoint Shopping Centre store.

This is a hands-on role involving both Back of House (BOH) popcorn production and Front of House (FOH) customer service. Successful applicants must be willing to undertake both food preparation and customer service duties, rather than solely working at the counter.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook fresh popcorn following our recipes and operating procedures.
- Operate popcorn-making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pack popcorn products, prepare customer orders and replenish stock.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist customers with product selections and recommendations.
- Operate the POS system and process transactions.
- Clean and maintain popcorn machines, equipment and workstations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic store environment.
- Assist with other daily store operations as required.

What We're Looking For

- Willingness to work in both popcorn production and customer service.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.




- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to follow recipes, instructions and food safety procedures.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
- Previous experience in food preparation, hospitality or retail is preferred but not essential.

Students and applicants with limited work experience are welcome to apply. Full training will be provided.

Pay & Employment Conditions

- Part-time employment.
- Adult base rate: $27.81 per hour.
- Saturday and Sunday: $34.76 per hour (adult rate).
- Junior rates apply to eligible employees under 21 years of age, in accordance with the applicable Award.
