Café All-Rounder / Floor Staff – Part-Time

Pool Coffee | Maroubra3–5 days per week | Weekends essential | Immediate start

We’re looking for an experienced café all-rounder who is a gun on the floor, thrives in a busy café and stays calm and organised under pressure.

Located opposite Mahon Rock Pool in Maroubra, Pool Coffee needs someone who can hit the ground running, look after customers and keep service moving during busy periods.

About the role

- Greet and seat customers, take orders accurately and process payments.
- Confidently manage a section and keep track of multiple tables.
- Serve food and drinks, clear tables and reset them promptly.
- Stay attentive to all customers, including our outdoor and back seating areas.
- Check on tables and anticipate customers’ needs without waiting to be asked.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and drinks team.
- Prepare cold drinks, including juices, smoothies, milkshakes and iced drinks—experience preferred, but willingness to learn is essential.




- Help with restocking, cleaning, opening and closing duties.

About you

- Previous floor experience in a busy café or restaurant.
- Fast, effective and proactive—you notice what needs doing and get it done.
- Able to handle a busy service while staying friendly and professional.
- Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and available for early starts and weekends.
- Looking for a long-term position with valid Australian work rights.

Pay: $26.44 – $33.00 per hour
