About the Position:

- Full-time | Monday to Friday | Night shift (approximately 9:00 pm – 5:00 am), with varied start and finish times to meet operational requirements.
- 13.5% Superannuation

We are seeking a reliable and experienced MC Truck Driver to join our Port Augusta team on a full-time night shift. This role involves completing local deliveries within Port Augusta, ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate an MC-licensed truck safely and responsibly.
- Complete local deliveries and collections throughout Port Augusta and surrounding areas as required.
- Load, unload and handle freight safely,



ensuring goods are secured appropriately.
- Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Follow all Cochrane’s Transport procedures, road safety requirements and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
- Provide professional and friendly service to customers.
- Work collaboratively with the depot team to ensure freight moves efficiently.

About You:

- A current MC driver’s licence.
- A current LF forklift licence (desirable)
- Previous truck driving experience, ideally in local deliveries or freight distribution.
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Positive communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
