Registered Nurses at Barton Care provide high-quality clinical care across aged care facilities and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols




- Monitor and document resident health status
- Supervise and mentor ENs, PCAs
- Coordinate with GPs, allied health
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
- Respond to clinical emergencies
- Participate in handovers, case conferences
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Contribute to infection control, wound management programs

Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as RN
- Min 6 months post-grad experience
- Sound clinical knowledge
- Excellent communication
- Ability to lead care team
- Valid National Police Check
- Current WWCC
- Valid Australian working rights
- Current influenza vaccination
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations

Desirable

- Experience in residential aged care or acute care
- Knowledge of AN-ACC
- First Aid and CPR certification
