Stony Creek Brewing is an independent, family-owned brewery and restaurant at 88 Limestone Street, Ipswich. We are looking for an experienced, reliable cook to join our kitchen team.

Availability to work nights and weekends is essential.

About the role

You will prepare and cook meals, help keep service running smoothly and maintain a clean, organised kitchen.

Your duties will include:

- Food preparation and cooking across the grill, fryer and pizza sections.
- Following recipes and maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion sizes.
- Working with kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver meals promptly.
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations and preparation areas.
- Assisting with receiving, storing and handling food supplies.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:





- Relevant cookery training or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience working in a busy kitchen.
- Sound knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and hygiene.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive communication skills and a calm approach during busy services.
- A reliable, punctual and positive approach to work.
- Availability for night and weekend shifts.

A current Food Safety Certificate is desirable.

Pay and conditions

This position is classified as Cook Grade 2 (Level 3), with pay and conditions in accordance with the applicable Award.
