Positive Care Solutions are seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide direct support to participants requiring High Intensity Supports within SIL environments.

You will support participants with complex physical, emotional, psychosocial, and behavioural needs while following individual support plans, behaviour support plans, and NDIS Practice Standards.

About the Role

As a High intensity Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with psychosocial disabilities, mental health challenges, intellectual disabilities, and complex support needs. You will help participants build independence, develop life skills, engage in the community, and maintain their wellbeing. High intensity supports are compensated at a higher rate.

Ideal Candidate

Passionate about supporting consumers with disabilities to empower them to achieve goals
Able to follow NDIS’s code of conduct and PCS policies/procedures when supporting PCS Participants
Is compassionate and demonstrates empathy
Can handle complex or challenging situations calmly and rationally




Reliable and adaptable

Personal care experiance and willingness to perform

Desire to attend team meetings and develop as a PCS worker

Essential Selection Criteria

- 2 years experience in supporting above needs

Ability to follow instruction well

Ability to support participants to meet their individual goals
Ability to develop skills and encourage independence & healthy relationships

Ability to implement strategies from Behaviour Support Plans

Ability to work flexible hours, with a willingness to work within a 24/7 rotating roster

You will need to hold the following:

Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
Current Full Driver’s License
Worker orientation module: Quality Safety and you

New worker: NDIS induction modules

Supporting effective communication

Supporting safe and enjoyable meals
NDIS Worker Screening Check
