Franklyn, Queensland's largest manufacturer of blinds, awnings and security screens, require the services of an enthusiastic showroom consultant to join our Tingalpa Showroom.

Franklyn Blinds Awnings Security is seeking a motivated and personable Casual Showroom Sales / Design Consultant to join our Tingalpa Showroom, working every Thursday evening (3pm-8pm) Saturday (8.30am-5pm) and Sunday (9am-4pm), plus additional days as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an eye for design, and thrives in a retail showroom environment.

About the Role

As a Showroom Sales Consultant, you will assist customers in selecting blinds, shutters, awnings, curtains, and security products that suit their homes and lifestyles. You’ll provide expert advice, product recommendations, and exceptional customer service from initial enquiry through to quotation and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Greeting and assisting showroom customers
- Providing product and design advice tailored to customer needs
- Preparing quotes and processing sales enquiries
- Following up leads and maintaining customer relationships
- Coordinating with the wider sales and installation teams
- Maintaining showroom presentation and displays
- Learning and staying up to date with product ranges and trends





About You

- Previous retail sales or showroom experience preferred
- Interior design, decorating, or window furnishing experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and people skills
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Confident using computers and learning quoting systems
- Ability to work Thursday evenings and weekends and flexible casual hours (7 day availability preferred)
- Self-motivated with a genuine passion for customer service and design
- Experience working in a team environment, as well as independently
