Pastry Chef / Baker

Sorrento | Full-Time | Above-Market Salary + Performance Bonuses

We are seeking an experienced and committed Pastry Chef / Baker to join our established hospitality team in beautiful Sorrento.

As a much-loved and highly seasonal venue, we are looking for someone who takes pride in producing exceptional traditional desserts and baked goods, and who is excited to become a valued, long-term member of our team.

The Role

This is an important position within our kitchen. You will be involved in producing significant volumes of our traditional desserts and baked products, maintaining the high standards and consistency for which we are known.

Our business is particularly busy throughout summer and school holiday periods, and we require someone who is prepared to give their best during these peak periods. In return, the seasonal nature of our business provides excellent opportunities to accumulate days in lieu, in addition to your four weeks of annual leave each year.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has solid professional experience in pastry, baking or a closely related field.
- Takes genuine pride in the quality, consistency and presentation of their work.
- Is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working at a rapid pace during peak periods.




- Has demonstrated stability in previous employment and is looking for a long-term position rather than a short-term opportunity.
- Works well independently while also being a dependable member of a small team.
- Is physically capable of working with large-scale equipment and handling substantial quantities of heavier products.
- Is organised, practical and committed to maintaining excellent food-safety and workplace standards.
