About the Role

Pickle Power Kids is growing, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Racquet Sports Coach to lead high-energy junior programs, mentor junior coaching staff, and help drive the quality and expansion of our sessions across our locations.

This is an ideal role for experienced sports educators, senior coaches, senior physical education students, or passionate racquet sports players looking to take the next step in their coaching career with a dynamic, growing organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead Flagship Programs: Deliver engaging, structured racquet sports sessions and advanced skill pathways for children and teenagers.
- Coach & Mentor: Support, mentor, and guide Casual Junior Coaches on the floor, providing constructive feedback and ensuring consistent delivery of Pickle Power Kids standards.
- Program Execution & Adaptation: Oversee session delivery, adapt coaching plans to suit diverse age groups and skill levels, and ensure sessions run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for parents, participants, and venue partners,maintaining skilled and clear communication.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised environment, ensuring all health,safety, and operational guidelines are strictly followed.
- Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with management to help refine coaching frameworks, trial new activities, and contribute to the ongoing growth of our programs.

We're Looking For Someone Who Brings

- Demonstrated Experience: Proven background in coaching racquet sports (tennis, pickleball, badminton,squash,



etc.) and working with children or teenagers in a sports environment.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Natural ability to lead by example, inspire younger coaches, and foster a collaborative team culture.
- High Energy & Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the confidence to manage groups and engage effectively with parents and staff.
- Proactive & Organised: Strong initiative, exceptional reliability, and the ability to manage session logistics seamlessly.
- A Passion for Movement: A strong commitment to active living, youth development, and inclusive sports participation.

Essential Requirements & Checks

- Demonstrated experience playing or coaching a racquet sport at a competitive or instructional level
- Prior experience in a coaching, leadership, or sports education role
- A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- The ability to actively participate in, lead, and demonstrate physical activities
